Auto reconnect to hubs.

Auto reconnect to hubs.
I would like to recommend an *auto-reconnect* feature to Hubs for DC ++
Here’s my dilemma. I tend to use DC ++, unattended. I could be at work, downstairs watching a movie or simply, sleeping. My DSL connection on occasion decides to disconnect and reconnect for no apparent reason. This all happens in less than 60 seconds and tends to occur once or maybe twice a month. Obviously the DC shares fail. But that’s not the problem. The problem is that DC ++ doesn’t reconnect to the hubs and subsequently cannot continue with the shares unless I reconnect manually.
Could this feature be implemented? (An apology if this has been discussed before.)

[snipped
* Automatic reconnections (to hubs and users)
[snipped]
Everyone is supposed to download from the hubs, - I don´t know why, but I never do anymore.
No, no, that's a snipped from what's called changelog.txt.
This is a textfile (which comes with DC++ and resides in i'ts homefolder) that describes what has changed in the program.
Click on --> Help --> Change Log in DC++ and you'll see it
So what fusbar is saying is that this feature already exists.
Isn't that some good news huh?

changelog.txt(375):* Reconnect time is randomized a little to reduce stress on hub when everyone reconnects
changelog.txt(588): (i e hubs you're trying to reconnect to count as well, to avoid too many updates being sent to the hub). Also,
changelog.txt(668):* If DC++ receives "banned" during the login phase, it'll stop automatically reconnecting (nöjd nu, nev? =)
changelog.txt(1207):* Partially fixed the connection timeout bug (++ now correctly shows reconnection attempts...)
changelog.txt(1266):* Fixed a memory leak when reconnecting to hubs
changelog.txt(1394):* Fixed annoying reconnect bug
changelog.txt(1450):* Automatic reconnections (to hubs and users)
changelog.txt(1473):* Automatic reconnection attempts when no slots are available
readme.txt(219): * If DC++ receives "banned" during the login phase, it'll stop automatically reconnecting
No, not configurable from the app.
Happy?

Yes, I know no need to try it.GargoyleMT wrote:Not correct. (Try it.)Gasman1015 wrote:DC++ only reconnects automatically to hubs set as a favourite.
Mitigating circumstances:
1. Read the oringinal post incorrectly, me bad..
2. Overworked
3. Underpaid
Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.
