Like on some mirc clients, have a latency bar for the hubs you are on. Some hubs have major lag and aren't worth staying on for long!
Such an easy thing to implement I would have thought

I think this would make more trouble than it's worth. Sure, if you're in the hub, maybe a status bar could show you your ping to it, but pinging hubs in the hub list (which is how I read your quote) needs to be seriously considered before implementing.djdiablo wrote:Like on some mirc clients, have a latency bar for the hubs you are on. I'm figuring there must be some sort of monitor already in place for the chat, so a latency monitor would just be an extension.
