Request: Make DC++ IRC comptible

Post by Borgs8472 » 2004-09-04 07:23

Continued from an old help thread

I'd like to use DC++ to connect to my site's chat room, so I can run DC all the time (which I tend to do) and not have to keep mirc open as well.

Can this be done?

I don't want to share files there, just chat, using DC++

Thanks in advance.

Sorry if I'm asking the earth...

Sandos once made a simple little application for connection to IRC from any DC-client. Feel free to explore his code on sf.net ;))
Anyone got a link to that? :)

Including IRC support in DC++ is not a good idea. It could never be as good of an IRC client as mIRC or HydraIRC.

There are hub side IRC linking programs, I think HaArd's HubLink may do it.
