Use only idle bandwith

Post by brotondi » 2004-08-22 05:14

Hello

I think this one is a good idea... New feature or already possible? (3rd party tool?)
How can I set up DC to use only idle network (internet) bandwith?

I mean: If I'm downloading something through MSIE or, surfing with Netscape it would be fine If DC does not slow me down...

Thanks for any reply!

DC++ does not have this feature. There are DC++ derived clients that have bandwidth limiting - where you can set a specific amount of download and upload bandwidth for use by DC++. None, however, figure out what your "idle bandwidth" is and use only that.

With standard DC++, you can try the "Use small send buffer" in Advanced Settings - it may help you.
