remove from the queue any files you already have shared

Post by rickybliss » 2004-07-28 12:25

A sugestion to cleanup from all those different file names for the same file.

I am motivated, yet inexperienced, any suggestions for an applet, seporate program to edit the queue.xml?

You want to remove from the queue any files you already have shared?

And some way to update as others add the TTH to there files in my queue.

I know the queue.xml has the TTH and I thought there was a file with my shared, but the formats were not the same, and I could not find an easy way to search and remove the entrys in the queue that were already downloaded, maybe a little applet??

Thanks for your help

I see you posted here, but not in bugzilla. Are you going to post there?

I have submitted a report

Post by rickybliss » 2004-07-29 13:08

I submitted a Bug report, my first, so I hope I did it correctly, Bug # 69.

If you want a feature added (to remove from your queue the files you have downloaded ), vote for it at http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/cgi-b ... .cgi?id=69

Am I doing this correctly?

Thanks
Rickyb

Standalone windows App built

Post by rickybliss » 2004-08-07 05:07

A friend of mine wrote a standalone app to remove from the queue.xml file all
the downloads matching the tth in the hashindex.xml file, creating a new
unique.xml file to replace the queue.xml file. It is for windows, the source is
included. I had to use a spanned zip (IZArc) to get it here.

Hope you find it helpfull

The Files are three patches in bug # 69, vote for it while you are there.

Can you get your friend to host the binary elsewhere? DC++ doesn't have unlimited space in the MySQL database sourceforge provides us.
