I mean that If I would like all the mp3s to end up in one folder and all video files in another folder, I should be able to choose this in the setup.

You were thinking of filetypes. I don't think it will happend; You can already today choose "download-to" today.

Yes I know, but it would be comfortable to be able to download specific filetypes to specific folders without using the download to function.

There are simple 3d-party apps that can do this for you. Move files around. If you for example download stuff that follows the scene-rules, you can use a simple app as TkSFV. Several others ofcourse exists.

A feature, to allow configurable directories is in the tracker:
[ 723126 ] Various Directories in: Download to...

Also, a feature to perform actions when a file is downloaded (which certainly could include a script you write to move files to specific directories):
[ 665801 ] Perform Actions after a file is down or uploaded

I've used GetRight, which has a similar feature, so I know what you're talking about.

It shouldn't be too easy for users to add files to their share without checking if they're fake/not-working, though.
