I made a new post instead of a reply.

the feauture i requested was that one slot should be reserved for sample files. I think it would be very useful in rar hubs, where all movies have sample files.

IMO, features that there's enough division over to merit a "make it a choice" suggestion are not worth the effort to put in.

It's a guideline. The only place where compressed transfers makes sense to disable is for 10+mbit users - where compressed transfers will hurt the transfer rate (especially when the TTH is used for incremental verifications, so there's no chance of corruption in the final file).
