bah, it's either too late, or I'm just stupid, because I can't figure out how to post a new feature request there...

Its a pitty DC++ doesn't support spec'ing file and dir download with dchub url's.

As Arne pointed out in personal communication the NMDC format won't work since DC++ needs the file size to add to the queue. I see two possible solutions:

1. Add size à la ed2k links at the end of the url: dchub://hub:port/user/path/file.ext|size

or

2. Have dc++ first dl the file list from the user, find the size and then add to dl queue.

Comments?

most progs/scripts don't see the |size remainder ar part of the url (as can be seen above)...
maybe use a ? instead, this is not an allowed filename char on Win systems anyway:
dchub://hub:port/user/path/file.ext?size

probably, but that's the browsers fault..
they don't open up an explorer window on file:// either

Sore it does, just add TrustedExternalURLProtocols=dchub to the [User Prefs] section of Opera6.ini

Good idea Sedulus; even better than my proposal.

Check your install folder (or if you selected multiuser install, the config folder) - you'll find Opera6.ini there (6 is the version of the file, not program  )
