Male/Female
It would be nice if the icon could show if the user was male/female/(not selected). Now it only shows active/passive (brick wall) and DC++ (blue). It shouldn't be too hard to add a dropdown-list so you could choose your sex. I think many people in main chat would appreciate that (at least I would).

The protocol that DC++ uses cannot be extended with arbitrary information like you want. ADC can, once ADC gets popular enough, you can petition some of the derived clients to add this feature -- it seems out of place in DC. If I want to know someone's gender, I ask. Usually it doesn't matter in the course of the conversations I have.

Scientific research shows that the higher education one has, the higher probability that the user is using the internet for intellectual purposes. It is also a known fact that a higher percentage of woman compared to men has a long education...PseudonympH wrote:I usually assume everyone is male until told otherwise. This is the internet, after all.
But then again, you can't really call DC for intellectual purposes...

There exists webcam-hubs where it is possible to determine your gender up to apparence. We have not yet forced the users to show their private parts.
But that would be the way to determine it fully. Some issues would have to be taken towards if the user is shemale or not.

Everyone is supposed to download from the hubs, - I don´t know why, but I never do anymore.
