"move completed folder"?

Post by disgust » 2006-04-03 13:16

is an option like this available? I can't seem to find it.

it would save me a LOT of time, as I download whole directories at once, not just file by file. is there a plugin or something that can accomplish this? another client? I desperately want this feature.

thanks for any help you can provide

What is it exactly you want? What do you mean by 'move'?
Do you mean that you want to see directories in the Finished downloads window so you know the entire directory is finished?

well, you know how there's a "temp" directory for files, and then it moves to a "completed" directory when the file is done? I'd like to set up the same thing when you download whole directories instead of single files.

ie if I want to download "folder a" with everything in folder a, when it's all done downloading, it'd move it from c:\incomplete to c:\complete or something

It's been discussed a few times, but not much recently. The earliest request I remember was from the old tracker in 2004. I guess one problem would be having to sort through the unfinished directory to find one file that has been completed, but not moved because it was included in a download-whole-directory initiative. Anywy, this goes in proposals.
