User Offline-Online message in PM

i want to request this feature, sometimes when i say something in pm the other user goes offline and i dont know if it read it, with this i know when he go and when he is back, like DCDM
i hope you understand :?

You can't send PM's to users who are offline, so if you can send it, he's online. That's all the assurance you can ever have that he'll read it.

i step out
he get offline
he get online
i dont know if he read the message
a lot of time i send a PM, the user reboots or close DC++ and forget to read the PM and i dont know if i need to send that PM again, sometimes i send the pm 10 times and maybe he is not at home at that time and thats why i dont have and answer

I don't understand how this feature could ever make you any more sure if the other user has read your PM or not?

only help me to know if i need to send the mesage again, and to know if a user is in the hub at x time, maybe is useless i use the DCDM one now

Sounds quite useless. If he hasn't responded for a week, send it again. Simple.

It's quite annoying as well, when people with bad connections leave a pm. You get pages of Offline / online messages. :P

Ask your questions using any ACK-chat-system: There are several used using different radio-protocols:

Example: "Hey billy bob! Seen my new picture of angelinas belly! Say WTF LOF if you got this message". If he doesn't answer, assume he haven't read it. ;))

Basicly such systems are rarely used in written protocols but very much used in radio-communications, like air-control, chip-control, millitary et.c....

There are email-verifications tries but most people doesn't use them. ;))
Everyone is supposed to download from the hubs, - I don´t know why, but I never do anymore.

If anyone ever PMed me 10 times without me responding once, I'd never respond to him. That is annoying.
