DCH++ beta test!!!!
Hi!
I'm owner of a hungarian HUB, Wishmaster (cca 1000 users) and I'd like 2 be a tester if that's possible!
Seeing forward of your reply,
Maci

Maybe...
yhub has 1 big matter, the scripting... to be onest, it doesn't have any!
If u try to make a country specified hub, with only 1 nick prefix, u can't , couse then u have te write all the IP ranges in too.....

Night: you really should use the Log out button if you have little kids running around in the house.

dc++ surely didn't win over nmdc users for/with it's GUI, I'm sure :)
does it have lua scripting support? disk-based ip and nickname logging? ip-check against illegal Ctm's + allowance for some who are allowed to use a different ip in there? a warning when kicked users re-enter? the possibility for users to block people with far less share than them to connect to them? the possibility to block any command for any non-registered user? a sendrules option to send the hubrules to someone in mainchat? the $HubINFO command? the $UserIP command? the $UserCommand command? the ability to let people with enough rights (registered) to connect from ip-ranges that are not 'allowed'?Night wrote:Yhub looks much better!

Blame the use of "GUI" not on my lack of understanding that DCH++ is a service but 1) Night's mention of screenshots and 2) my current sleep deficit. The principle however is the same: going first is not always best, because those that follow can get the benefit of everything you did plus their own ideas, which you didn't get to see.
DC++ improved upon DC, otherwise people would have used DC. And that's the truth.
And frankly, I don't see anything wrong in DC++'s GUI anyway.

and what prevent you as the original maker to add the good things of the followers ?Lightning Man wrote:The principle however is the same: going first is not always best, because those that follow can get the benefit of everything you did plus their own ideas, which you didn't get to see.

here you got it, NMDC took to long to improve.
