So, if 16 minutes of those were networking time.
And you were to get a server class NIC, with decent bus mastering.
Does that mean only 8 minutes of CPU time would be used?
Oh, and is it all still a closed beta? Or can you get the source and have a go yourself now?
I'm instested in compiling it for LEAF, as an LRP.
http://leaf.sourceforge.net
and sticking it on one of my old P100 boxes in a DMZ

no clue, I have a 3Com Corporation 3c905C-TX/TX-M [Tornado] (rev 116) in it now. I have no idea what a server class NIC with decent bus mastering looks like ;)The Daishi wrote:And you were to get a server class NIC, with decent bus mastering.

hm, a quick glance at the site doesn't provide decent/valuable insights on what advantages LEAF has over regular linux distro's.The Daishi wrote:I'm instested in compiling it for LEAF, as an LRP.
