odd connection problem

Post by yakko » 2006-06-15 13:32

I've been having a problem with my hub. Every so often I'll get the message
[13:23] <-=VectorSigma=-> This hub is running DCH++ v1.0-Release (Plugin API v1.0) on Linux 2.6.16-gentoo-r7 (i686)
then it doesn't seem to do anything else. Right now it's happening when I connect from work, but if I connect from home via a VPN I can get in fine. Is this a hub problem, DC++ problem, or a wierd internet problem?

Also, are there any updates to DCH++? 1.0's been out for a while.

No. DCH++ is a lost project and won't be worked on. ADCH++ is the 'new thing'. (It isn't public, so don't bother asking.)

Verlihub is pretty much the standard high-user *nix hub software.

You can send a message around the world in 1/7 of a second; yet it may take several years to move a simple idea through a 1/4 inch of human skull.
