We have a hub with about 5000 users. We can serv more users because our link, and our hardware is good enough, but we cannot go on more than 5200 users, because the verli crashes at this peak.
Maybe can we try dch++? I think this user count will be very good for a beta test.

Curious, what speed pipe do you have that can be dedicated to a 5000 user server? Pretty impressive....

DC uses quadratic amount of bandwidth. So its not that suprising.
Everyone is supposed to download from the hubs, - I don´t know why, but I never do anymore.

The problem is that verlihub get freeze at this user count. As we see in the stats we can serv more than 5000 users. This is the thing why we want to try DCH++.

Have you tried OpenDCHub yet? (linux daemon). We've had very good luck with that recently (we moved from Ptokax) - very nice features, admin options, scripting support. Now we've only had about 1000 users on....

We tried it out now... It is a very good and stable software. The only problem is that the peak is at ~1700 users... After that count you get connection abort.

Really? I'm surprised. Its supposed to fork after 1000 users (by default). Have you considered that its a networking problem that so few of the target is able to connect, and not in fact the software?
