aDe's DC tools

Post by aDe » 2003-01-29 18:11

some of the smaller creations i made...

Applications..
http://phats0.d2g.com/dctools/FavHubManager-v2.exe
With this you can import your favourite hubs from NMDC to DC++.

http://phats0.d2g.com/dctools/GLM-TraxSender-v5.exe
This tool sends the track title you are currently listening to to the dc main chat. Works with nmdc & dc++, winamp 2.8 & 3, foobar2k, mmjukebox, zoomplayer.

http://phats0.d2g.com/dctools/FindDCHub.exe
Find the nmdc hub window when you loose that little tray icon.

http://phats0.d2g.com/dctools/DCHub_DreamReg.zip
A standard version 1.00.25 of the nmdc hub that registers to the dreamland hublist server.

http://phats0.d2g.com/dctools/GLMp3Alarm.exe
Not really dc related. Executes a playlist at a given time..

http://phats0.d2g.com/dctools/RedirectHub-v1.zip
A tiny 'hub' that only redirects clients. Optionally sends a PM/chat msg.

Scripts...
http://phats0.d2g.com/dctools/IPBlocker.zip
Blocks IP ranges from baaad companies.. :)

http://phats0.d2g.com/dctools/GLMLDonkeyfilter2.zip
Blocks mldonkeys by name/sharesize

enjoy

yO.

I know this is a bit n00bish, but which program do you use to edit the hubsoftware? I've tried to deassemple the program i w32dasm, but I can't find any strings to edit..

The reason why I want to edit the hubsoftware is that I want to customize the "This server is running version xx of NMDC ..." msg..

Sincerely
tChAd

To the hub manager, you should add the feature to change the order of the hubs in the list, moving them up or down. Because now, DC++ can do what your app can do too so no reason to use it.. for now.

just a quicky about the favourites manager:

i've import both my DC++ and NMDC into the main window, and then try saving, i then click no. this brings up a "file open" window. navigating to my DC++ directory and clicking on the favourites file doesn't save the imported lists. I am doing something wrong?

anyhelp appreciated thanks

Hi there aDe. I like your tools very much, good work. I have for some time now, used FulDC instead of DC++, and cannot send track-info to my FulDC v6.58 with TraxSender. It works fine with DC++ v0.668 tho, so its nothing wrong. Im using GLM-TraxSender-v9.exe currently. Is it possible, that in the next version of GLM-TraxSender, that the track-info sender can send track information to the FulDC clients, as well as DC++ and others?
