Its also an opensource-client for the same protocol as DC++ supports.
Everyone is supposed to download from the hubs, - I don´t know why, but I never do anymore.

I downloaded shakespeer is there anything else i need? Because it still doesnt work

I've been having the same problem...i download the program go to run it, it pops up in the tool bar for a split second and then disapears....help!

shakespeer wasn't working for me eihter but then i figured out that you need OSX v10.4 tiger or later to run it....What you are probably running along with me is OSX v10.3.9 panther...which means we're SOL unless we spend the $130 to buy the new OS...
