HEllo!

My problem looks to be similar one.

FOR SURE i have both external and internal Ip adress. when i set DC into active mode ( direct connection) i can't download file lists/ files but have search results and people can download from me :/

when set passive - i can download from active ones ( natural:D)

BUT in the FAQ which U are supporting it is written :
If you are NOT behind a router:

Select the Direct Connection radio button in DC++ connection settings. Leave the IP fields blank. This will make DC++ use the current IP assigned to your network card. You must not have an internal IP address for this to work.
what does it mean: "you must not have an internal IP adress"?

how should i set up my dc client?where is problem? i'm using win xp but win's firewall is disabled, i have set up my kerio firewall in way which is shown in FAQ ( adding packet filter and etc)

when i go into dc options and switch "get ip" it gets external one

my ISP is not blocking any ports, my external IP is public but "routed " ( i dunno exact word in english)inside NAT

i get this when use "cmd" ip config /all:
D:\Documents and Settings\Admin>ipconfig /all

Read non-routable, i.e. 10. , 192.168., 172.30.16., etc

Thx for supporting my first question.

I'm using both: DC++ and mods but problem is the same. So can U support me in using DC++ please? cause it seems to me that U will not help me because of using mod some times. i want to set my DC++ properly. i'm using +v:0.674 release.

so finally:what should i do when i HAVE both: routable and no-routable adresses?

You might want to try entering the public IP under "bind address" in advanced settings. Also, upgrade to .691; we can't really support a year old version with all the code changes since then.
