Search spy times don’t sort correctly

Post by BW~Merlin » 2006-05-17 07:14

Hi, I’m using BCDC++ 0.689a (just updated to from 0.687b) and I have noticed with both version that the search spy time stamps don’t get arranged correctly when you sort the results by time. At the moment results from 8:00pm to 9:59pm are arrange in order correctly but then results from 10:00pm are listed below the 8:00 results. This seems to make no sense at all why it would do this. What is the point of having it list the searches by time if it’s not going to sort them into an ascending or descending order correctly? Is this a bug in DC or something else?

Thx

Change the start of the timestamp format from
H to HH.
Dunno how that will work with the am / pm thingy. Use 24 hour clock instead.

That's assuming it's a setting, and not hardcoded. :)

I'v changed the time settings to %H:%M:%S: %d:%m:%y but atm the seems to be only effecting main chat.

In DC++ it's hard coded.

I don't know if it's a bug in DC++, transferred over to BCDC++. I atleast don't see it in DC++.

Well I have set up search spy on another pc that is running dc++ 0.689 and the same problem exists there as well. Anyway to fix this or will this have to be fixed in a new version of dc?

If you can reproduce it with DC++, you can enter a bugreport in the Bugzilla. (Don't just copy-paste what you wrote here. )
