When my download finished this error came.
It's only happened once, but I'd really like to know what exactly this means.
Thanks
xx

Disable Safe and Compressed transfers, and try again.

Was that the exact error message? If it is a problem with safe and compressed transfers, the error message will be different. The message you mentioned sounds more like a WinZIP or WinRAR message.

Well, I wasn't downloading a WinRAR or zip file.
Anyway, after I disabled the safe and compressed transfers the error turned into 'TTH root inconsistency' (or something along those lines). The file is downloaded 100% but is still in the queue.
Sigh.

Both error messages are (potentially) symptoms of corruption along your network path. Check that all your cabling is tight and not bent/crimped/worn.
What DC++ version are you running?

Ta, I'll try it out.
Using DCf++ 7.5

Where's that from? I haven't heard of that mod before.

Got it from an Icelandic hub site a while ago. It's closed now though.

Well, definitely check out the network angle.
I don't know what DC++ version that is based on, so one of my suggestions goes out the window. I'm also moving this post, because it may not even be a problem with the DC++ code inside the mod you're using.
