Hi all
I was wondering if anyone could help me out here.I am using the univeristy dialup connection and I guess they have already blocked it.When I connect in a normal active mode,I couldnt even get to see the user list(though I could connect to the hubs,but they disconnected after some 5 minutes).I then used http tunnel and in the settings of dc++ I changed the sock5 server as the local host.(I am not sure whether this is the way to use http tunnel).In any case after i did this I could see the user lists and also search.However I couldnt get the file lists.Is there a work around for this.
I am using DC++ v.401,Dial up connection to the univeristy,there are no firewalls on my system?In the http tunnel client I have stated it to auto detect proxy servers!(though again I am not sure what it means,but in any case atleast it works till what I have said coz of this) Is there any other information that is required to solve this.?
