oDC+ v3.51 just shuts down when I open Download Queue

Post by musicmen2003 » 2004-09-23 04:43

Hi guys,

Really frustrated with this. Was downloading stuff a few days ago and my broadband went off. It came back this morning but whenever I open oDC+ 3.51 it runs fine until I try and open the download queue to search for alternatives of the files I was getting.

I have tried reinstalling and also moving the imcomplete files and the same thing happens... Has anyone please got any ideas how to stop it from keep crashing when i goto download queue? Any help would be well appreciated.

Jason

There has never been a 3.51 release of oDC.

Everyone is supposed to download from the hubs, - I don´t know why, but I never do anymore.

try deleting the queue.xml and any incomplete files it might have created... (this will result in complete removal of your queue)

Hi there,

Thanks for this information. Will try that when I get home tonight.

Was hoping to save the files I have almost got as there are 3 700meg files almost finished... the trouble with computers huh.

Thanks

it's probably because of a corrupt download or a virus on your computer, or a virus in your download...

By observing you posting in this forum it seems to me like you are using some kind of (to me unknown) old, outdated and unsupported client.

My first advice to you, dear user, would be to change to the client that is the mother (and father as well actually) of all clients : DC++. By doing this we would be looking at a whole different situation. Your questions would be spawned at a completely different level and I, for one, would be thrilled to help you out with any type of problem.

Kind Regards
