Hi,
I want to start saying I like hashing. In my configuration it can be a bit frustrating however. Everything I share (500gb) is on a network drive, a drive I access through the same lan as my internet (100mbit). Hashing is not only making my computer practically unusable (100% cpu) it also is in the way of downloading.
Would it be possible to create hashdata.dat and hashindex.xml on the server the network drives are on (linux by the way)? I know of the program tthsum but that doesnt have such extensive functionality.
Before starting dc++ I could have a script copy them to the dc directory and after disabling refresh filelist every hour hashing would not happen anymore on my local pc.
Would anyone know how to realise this?
Thanx in advance,
Sebastiaan
