oDC is another Direct Connect client.

The (dollar)Cancel, etc wasn't a bug. They are DC commands and are perfectly valid for thread names.

The subtitle may say "controversial" features, but you can post any feature requests here. :)

Step 1: Turn off the CAPS LOCK key.
Step 2: Get a working hublist (see the sticky threads in this forum about hublists)
Step 3: Share stuff
Step 4: Connect to a hub
Step 5: Download stuff. Either select a user from the hub and browse their file list for stuff, or use the search button.

For the first one, you might want to look at Settings --> Downloads and enter a value in the "Maximum download speed [etc]" box.

A value such as half your available bandwidth, perhaps.
