You can always back up you modifications, and then remove them one by one and rebuld solution between every change unti you have located the problem...

In dc+k CDM there is an option to supress mainchat, if you download the code for both clients perhaps you can move that code into dc++?

Looks like DCPlusPlus-rc has something to do with it. In resorce view, expand DCPlusPlus -> DCPlusPlus.rc -> Dialog ( Or double click on DCPlusPlus.rc in solution view and then expand Dialog )

With dc++ you must have a version greater then 0.300 yes but other clients sould work fine also includeing the client you are using ( I think ). If he banned you and you feels innocient then perhaps he banned the wrong user or found something about you which looked like faking but weren't? [2004-01-...

There can be problems ( wil probably be) compiling dc++ with vc6. If you can, upgrade to a .net version ( 2003 is best ).

DC++ DOESN'T work as spyware and noone can see if you are running netlimiter or not but perhaps they can notice that you're limiting your uploads in some way, or perhaps you shared netlimiter?[/b]

Can you connect to the hub if you from the computer running connects to 127.0.0.1?
THen you can try to connect to it from another computer behindtherouter using the local ip of the hub computer.

In particular, if you GPL your DLL, you can't have it linked in with non-GPL code - i.e. the rest of your application.
