You need both TCP and UDP. TCP for downloading and UDP for searching.

It would be very intressting to know what compiler you use as it says Visual Studio 8 and I though the latestr was 7.1. And you have probasbly not included stlport properly as it try to use the stlport that comes with Visual Studio.

Have you tried to set breakpoints on different code places that might be called then you click the button?
Have you make sure that the button really calls something then you click it?

Use DC++k CDM or DCDM++ instead of the outdated DC++k the DC++k CDM is based on an older version of DC++k because of stability reasons, but has now elvolved past DC++k. But as you said is it the problem with hubtraffic, and that's a reason to why it probably never will get implemented. As it can be problems with the hubs using bandwith as it is today.

THe only place int the whole source that THREAD_PRIORITY_NORMAL shows up is in Thread.h is what I can find after a few searches. Perhaps you meant that file?

It doesn't rehash everything, jsut optimizes the database a bit. Take about 30 seconds for me with 50 gb shared.

I think he though TTH was some kind of collection name and that CRC was one of the hashing that went under that name.

On which step do you get that error, if it's on the make install, be sure that you're logged in as root.
