One thing I don't fully understand though is why are the RegOpenKeyEx and RegQueryValueEx preceeded by the :: operator when it doesn't seem to be in an unused namespace or class????? It compiles all the same with the :: operator omited from these calls. I think, the :: is there to call the function...

You can't 'send' text to the status bar. DC++ will just filter a message if it contain 'is kicking because:'. It's not an 'operator-feature'. If you want just operators to 'send to' the status bar, have the hub filter it.

The problem with 'on top' is that there's a possible collision with other applications that also want to be 'on top' (that is, how do you decide which application that should 'the most on top'). I believe Raymond Chen has blogged about this..

Why do you even need the format to be included? Use 'Any' as file type and enter "<search word(s)> ape" (and replace ape with whatever you want as file type).

If you 'need' it to be implemented, add an entry to the bugzilla and post a patch and you'll see if it gets accepted.

Just because the status is 'New', doesn't mean someone will actually provide code for it or that is will absolutely be in later versions of DC++.

Having that said, I'm inclined to close the feature request. There is no ground for the feature.

Are you talking about the ratio at the bottom in the About box? It would be stupid to add it since it is easily faked by *anyone*. Just open up dcplusplus.xml and change it. Besides, the information says nothing about if a person is a leecher or not.
