That bug has already been fixed in the development version. In fact, it was one of the first things fixed.

The problem is that the unfinished dir is in the downloads dir That's not the default for the version you are using. Have you explicitly set both the finished and unfinished folder to be the same? I share the downloads dir. So you immediately share things without first checking them? I would change...

I promise you its sometihng to do with DC++ and the folders I download to or upload to users from. When ever I access them whether dc++ is running or not the explorer.exe in taskbar manager goes crazy. If it also happens when DC++ is not running, how is it a DC++ problem? Did you do step 3 (chkdsk)...
