TTH Average Hashing speed
I've created a tool that finds the average TTH hashing speed on your computer, based off the values in the DC++ system log message file (system.log). This will only work if you're using a recent 0.402 CVS build! (BCDC 0.401b is the only one that comes to mind thats been precompiled) Place the progra...

This is unlikely a hub issue. read Connection timeouts FAQ for the most likely cause.
If the same users go into another hub, do they have the same problems ?

Ability to accept / deny $UserCommands per favorite hub
Some hubs that I'm in have recently enabled a ton of $UserCommands. I still want to use the Usercommands sent by other hubs, so I don't want to compleatly disable them, but not the ones from that hub. Would it be possible to have an option in each favorite to accept/deny Usercommands ?

If the file(s) are the same, how is that going to differ much from how it currently is now? For example, you download a movie released by a group now.... DC++ autofinds 9 different sources with the files and connects to them all, getting different files. You're now using a slot from each person.... ...

However, what about multiple source downloads. I take it that DC++ does'nt support this. Did you just ignore what I initially typed!?! At this moment in time, DC++ does not support mulitsource downloading. Although, since hashing has finally been implemented, its not too far off in the distance. Be...

Re: Contributing
Question is, is there any way I can contribute as an experienced C/C++ programmer? (server programming experience - winsock mostly though). You'd have to take that up with Arne. Being that he hasnt (and isn't planning) on releasing the source code for quite a while, I wouldn't keep your hopes on. A...

Re: after-hashing?
the problem is, the disk just won't calm down even AFTER it says that the file list has been updated and there's still some process in the background which consumes a significat part of resources, any idea what THIS might mean, anyone? You don't know if its DC++ or some other program... Open up the...

Re: Option to decide which Filelist-type to download
Is it possible to implement a function (right-click or so), which allows you to decide whether to download the new Filelist-format including the hashes, or just the old one, which is a lot smaller? No. If you did that, how would DC++ know that the file was hashed? That would defeat a large purpose ...

1) I know this was in BCDC when he was playing around with hashing, so I can only guess it should be in the next version of DC++. Would make sense though to have it. 2) When you mean filtered from the list.. do you mean your filelist or returning searches? If you mean the filelist, duplicates are al...
