Who cares really who does it? You can already set if you want the message filtered, or not. Personally i wish everyone would set their damn hubs to kick everyone who spams messages that end with a lot of space and a "is kicking", since they're so damn ignorant. That goes for both normal and OP users...

Only bulshits. I need implement It, I don't post this note to reading this bulshits and stupid thread in the your link (Is "very" funny, that you will not implement REGULAR!!! formats, because It consume some CPU power :( (+-1-2% for 0.5sec)) You really think that kind of language will raise the ch...

Also, this feature existed in version 0.668, so I'm sure it's just a matter of putting the code back in, and it shouldn't take too much dev time. Having the feature doesn't hurt anything :) Having a built-in Tetris game in DC++ wouldn't hurt anything either, but why would we want to bloat it with w...

Actually, you can set a no-ip dns (for example) to your internal IP. I havn't tried it myself, but others claim it works anyway. The problem might be if you need to update the IP automatically, i don't know if there are updaters that do that. However, you realise the user would still require interne...

Revconnect has that feature already and the source if freely available, so it shouldn't be hard to implement that until the next protocol is ready. That's not quite the way DC++ does things. arnetheduck, the copyright owner of DC++, only implements code from mods if the authors write over the copyr...

I think you're missing something here. Your ISP is not spying on you. RIAA/MPAA agents are using DC clients to download your userlist and are reporting you. They could do this just as easy if the traffic was encrypted. The only thing gained by encryption is to avoid trafficshaping, you can not escap...

Have you realised that these spam messages are almost always being sent from different, random nick, users? Blocking usernames will do you no good. What you should do is stop being in hubs that don't take actions against the spammers. A good hubowner should be able to stop the spam more or less easi...
