Yes, you can use mutliple lists, seperate them with a ;

Although, vanilla DC++ will only use the first one in the list. If its down, then it will try the second and so forth. There are a few mods which combine them.

Only idea is to specify which adaptor you want DC++ to use, by making it the primary one. Network connections -> Advanced Menu -> Advanced. Then select the NIC and move it to the top.

Being that DC++ is GUI driven, I highly doubt it will ever have commandline options.

If you really want one, I'd suggest you checkout the clients for *nix, several can run under windows (with or without cygwin)

yes and no. Windows NT (NT/2K/XP/2K3) have something called Junctions. With this you can graft a target folder onto another NTFS folder or "mount" a volume onto an NTFS junction point. Junction points are transparent to programs.

Most virus scanners automatically scan new files that are created on your computer (ok, not inside a compressed file). DC++ isn't like kazza where a good portion of the files are viruses/worms.

If after reading that FAQ (and the one it links to) is too much for you to comprehend, then its probably good indicator that you should not be running a hub! There are thousands of hubs out there already where you can chat away and meet new people.

Banning in each hubsoft is different. type !help in main chat to see the commands for ptokax. As for best hubsoftware, I'd say DCH++, but thats not released yet (and no one knows when either). yhub is good in the sense it can handle a lot of users but sucks since it doesnt support plugins or scripts...

all clients who work right away are in passive mode. furthermore, the direct their traffic through common ports in attempts to get around firewalls/port blocking. As for why it doesn't try those methods, I'm not sure.
