Re: Webcam plugin
I'd like to see a version of DC++ that can support webcams, as i'm connected to my users over a local network with 100mb/s bandwith it would easily be supported by our network, i'd like to see and chat to my users while downloading files from them. I'd also like to see some dc++ hub software that c...

That's funny, because it's described in what I find to be a terribly obtuse and opaque manner. most of the things you talk about are caused by bots, if you enable the setting "ignore messages from user that are not online" most of the things will be ignored

Re: why is upload limiting bad?
Especially if auto speed swapping is available, Certainly if multisource downloading is available. I mean, Im providing My storage, my carefully picked and organised set of files, and my (expensive) upstream bandwidth, for YOUR use, at no gain to myself. be glad Im am hosting a file you want. I am thinking about multisource downloading a long time, and i'm not sure if it is such an improvement for dc++, offcourse your downloadspeeds would be faster in theory, but will the network as a whole function better? After all, other networks like Kazaa, WinMX or Emule are well known of their long...

What's wrong with that? Users are warned about duplicates. Sharing installed programs are discouraged. There's a difference between sharing an installed program and a setup directory :) It's a user configuration issue - keeping duplicates out of the file list by default is a perfectly sane option. ...

Off topic, but you should probably be sharing those as CUE/BIN or suchlike you know.. no this is better - if you have the setup cd and there's a read error in one of the files, you can download only that file - you can download from many people at once - you can choose which files you will or will ...

Well, it's not my code, so I can't contribute it. And, as far as making it too much work (or not), you need to think about the right way to do it. For example, how do you handle the "Status" column in the transferview? It updates every second, and is probably never going to be useful to someone. So...

I.. haven't seen this behavior. Matching on exact filename and size is the only function of Match Queue. If you can reproduce this, make a bug report and upload both your Queue and the filelist in question, and it'll get fixed. Ok, the next time i see it I will post it Used 0.307? They are. I haven...
