1. Search for, and read the other posts about setting up/compiling DC++ 2. Did you read my previous answer? (carefully) 3. Did you look at the link I gave you? (look at the pic. and think about it) 4. dbghelp.dll is distributed with the already compiled DC++ binary, You don't include it, you keep it...

No, I think you misunderstood this. You shouldn't replace anything, just unzip/unpack the STLPort-4.6 and WTL7.1 in separate folders and include them in VS.NET. Let everything else be default. Look at the second pic on this page for what the config should look like: http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net...

Seems like you're using MS's stlport, don't do that. Use STLPort from DC++ page

Ah, ok, then it makes more sense. I just happened to search this forum and almost everybody (when they write in the forum atleast) says, for example, "I joined this/that hub", "leave this/that hub" etc. etc, but if you say it's kinda based on the IRC vocabulary, I understand it a bit more. Well........., I don't now If I understand you correctly but the debug version is a whole lot slower due to all the assertions/checkings of added code, being done. I do assume you want to build a release version unless you're doing some development/testing of some kind

Parts versus leaves

I just wanted to ask about "Show joins / parts in chat by default". This might be more directed to the english speaking community.........To me it's seems a bit more natural to use the word "leaves" instead of "parts" but being "not english by nature" I might be missing something here. Can somebody ...

Re: Question about including

My question: how in hell should I include things into the list if there is none :?: Ah, I've seen this. This happened to me too when I was in "cleaning-mode" one day and accidently removed some "declarative-view-config-file" from VC install folder (Don't know which file, And I don't know why I was ...

If you give us some specifics by, for example, putting up your process-list and look at which p grabbing most of your CPU/time it would be so much easier to help you.

Paused ?, hmm...... it's a dynamic network, what should happen when you decide to resume the download and you discover that the user has left?, Should we do a rollback of the file?, delete it alltogether?

Ok, It seems to me that the most natural thing to do here is to put in an RFE at http://sourceforge.net/projects/dcplusplus and now that you're eager why don't you supply a code snippet that solves the problem?

Another solution would be to mod the code yourself, I've done it and I'ts pretty easy, look at function compareItems in file TransferView.h and modify it the way you want the sortorder in TransferView to be. Of course you have to redo it everytime you upgrade to a new client but......A little moddin...

I hadn't expected someone to blame DC++ for faulty, failing hardware. Well, this is actually often the case when you have a forum for something. Can't compile after reset of VS .NET 2003

I've read "compile.txt" and.......nothing. I haven't changed anything besides doing this reset. I get alot o...
