is this even possible with the current structure? After the connection initiation the hub has no idea what the clients do! If they did the "stay in hub while downloading" rule would never have been. Hubs could just have closed all connections that a user leaving the hub had.

Yes! Why not remove that worthless connection type column? It says practicly nothing of the speeds and the choices you have are real stupid. T1 & T3 differs with 43 Mbit (!) Most ppl end up in the DSL & T1 sections. What if we could paste the avarege UL Speed there instead. Would be much more useful...

In a good hubsoftware none of what you are talking about should be remotely possible. If folks are still using hubsoftwares that can be manipulated so easily, fuck 'em! (sorry) Implementing raw commands wouldn't make these bugs more easily exploitable, lots of DC++ mods already have this possibilty!...

If I understand correctly, we're discussing adding a % downloaded column to the client. No! It's about adding the % indicator to the queue! Quite a bit of calculation just to add a percentage column. the good thing with ADL Search is the fact that you can add ALL the stuff you are interetsed in, and it will appear in the <<< ADL Search >>> folder.. instead of having to search manually for each thing you want..

most hubs have strict rules about what can be shared in that perticular hub, with this feature implemented ppl could potentially start exchanging forbidden files! Such as child porn etc.

yes, but in that case one timeout counter is enough (like mentioned above). An simple timeout counter shouldn't be that hard to implement, but if the search must be able to handle multiple searches in a queue, it becomes comlicated..
