ok, after reading my post I realize: it's not clear what I wanted. I understood that Elbow (which is a good friend of mine) suggested opening a user's chat log right-clicking on its name in the user list. And I wanted to say that opening his downloaded filelist would be nice aswell. So, that item in...

What if this percentage is from current bandwidth? So when I tell DC++ to cap at 50% I am telling that at any given time, the bandwidth to upload is the same as for download. Of course if there are no uploads, downloads take all bandwidth, the same when no downloads. Ah... I'm confused. A 50-50% sp...

Free the slot every 100MB
I know there's an upload queue on works. but what about a feature that denies (for 10 seconds) the slot to a user that has downloaded 100MB (or whatever) in a row? Would this be very complex to program? Maybe this is a quick and dirt feature only for mods? Well, you clearly see that the object of th...

Once again we come back to sizes
DC++ only adds alternate files that have a filesize that is EXACTLY the same as the file it searches for, though, so it should (theoretically) be "safe". I still don't understand what you are going after. Do you want that for the search window or the filelist window? For the last case, have you noticed the 'match queue' in filelists?

Re: Once again we come back to hashes
The proper way to group files together is to ensure that their hashes are the same. I think any grouping before that is just guesswork, and will lead to more confusion about "rollback inconsistency" errors - "They were grouped, why won't it resume to the partial I've already downloaded?!?!!" And wh...

sorry, but this is obviously nonsense. No, it's not. :P using only hubs with the high-bitrate-only requirement means having access only to whatever is on those hubs. using those hubs *and* other hubs means having access to what's on both, necessarily more. I suggest to join some high quality mp3 hub as the best option. An mp3 encoded with Xing is crappy no matter the bitrate. 1) Barring users with a mix of bitrates will exclude the vast majority of users. Along with them will go most of the music out there.
