Something that would really interest me is knowing why this feature suddenly became so popular? We seem to get one request for this every other day... If you had bothered to search, you would have found this topic for instance.

Small update. It seems there is actually a client (or atleast, there will hopefully be in the close future) that supports different shares on different hubs. (cut) ... I've got one feature I'm sure he doesn't though...thats different shares in the same client for favorite hubs (it's true....SDCC 0.0...

Well, imho there are more good reasons for putting it in the rejected tracker. For one, it would mean users will most likely share as little as possible on each hub, i.e they will probably only share the kind of content the hub favors. Which will mean you will have to go into a lot of hubs to find c...

This is a rejected feature, which means it will not be implemented in DC++.
The alternative is using one client for each hub you want a different share in.

Before doing something as advanced as running two hubs, perhaps you should learn something as simple as connecting to a hub running on a different port? You need to connect with the port number, like so: my.hub.com:412 If you don't include a port number, DC++ will assume you want to connect to 411 w...

Making a bot in VB.NET
This doesn't exactly have anything to do with DC++, but it's programmer's help related anyway ;) I'm trying to make a simple bot that can connect to a DC hub and do simple operations, like respond to a PM.. and i'm doing it in VB.NET.. yes yes i should be doing it in C# or similar, VB sucks etc etc,...

there is no such option at the moment. either you code one yourself and submit a patch, or you'll have to say pretty please to some developer. Thanks - but what i was after was a script (as the topic says) that would do a client version check. I think what GargoyleMT was trying to say here is that if you get such a script, make sure it doesn't see oDC and DC++ as the same client, because then you will be kicking or warning ALL oDC users, ...

Sedulus, a couple of questions about the UserCommands. 1. The automatically-fetch-usercommands option, when will that be implemented? I believe users should have the option to choose if they should recieve these commands or not, since they are pretty invasive, and most users won't have any idea what...
