Well, first you fill a black cauldron with water and bring it to a boil over a fire. Then you add 3 frog eyes that have been sitting in a vat of cold pizza sauce for 3 weeks. Then you wait for exactly 15.43 seconds and add an entire live camel. You then add the monitor of the computer you want to ho...

I like DC++ very much, and it would be cool for it to have some (a bit sillyer) settings like CZDC++ has (colors, fonts, sounds, etc...). I say no to this. Vanilla DC++ is more about powerful backend than nifty flashing lights. That's something that should stay in modland. And one more thing, it wo...

There are far too many options already. Remembering the type used in the last search box might be a good way to do it, but there's a decent chance it would create more hassle than it prevents. I'd say just try to reuse the search window.

The first byte is the character, and the second is the length of the code in bits. I would assume that the compression uses the same clever trick that DEFLATE uses in that bytes with the same code length have codes that come in the same order as the bytes. Ex. if 'A' and 'B' both have a code length ...

The Unofficial Partial File Sharing Thread

I've been giving some thought recently as to how to implement PFS. Obviously, I'm talking about doing it over ADC, since doing it over NMDC would be too much of a pain. It seems a given that results from people who only have part of the file should only be done with TTH searches. There's no real pat...
