I think a queue system for the search is way to much! Not needed, all I want (and I speak only for myself) is to move the search timeout from the hub to me for all the reasons above... no need to do multiple manual searches at once..

Why remove the tag, it is used by many and is easily hidden, and so is the e-mail field? Don't see a problem here. This thread is out of date btw. the description tag has it's own column now.. no need to put it "first in the description".

It would be handy if search for alternatives was shown in the DC++ tag as many hub owners may not want users to have this feature activated. naah, this matter is easily handled with a hubscript.. just don't allow searches more than every X minutes... no need to make a fakable tag out of it! Your against traffic limiting is like saying that no ISP could possibly implement a spam filter, because it might block legitimate mail. But modern ISPs do have spam filters. The spam filter is there for You, not for them! And I'm certain that ISP conf their filters real careful not to block legit ...

by keeping the traffic low they earn HUGE amounts of money.. thats what they gain.. also I find it a bit uncomfortable that the admins with an easy mouseclick instantly can see EXACTLY what we are doing in the hubs!! Encryption is an important step towards anonymity!!

saving money ofcourse, bandwidth cost money.. what they want is to sell us a service at the highest price they can and then make us use it as little as possible! Limiting illegal p2p-traffic is a good way of doing this.. custumers won't complain that they can't use kazaa will they?

TheParanoidOne mentioned TweakUI, have you taken a look in the TweakUI drive tab to see if your m: & l: are selected... maybe you can make them visible somehow with that tool... uncheck and then check... if it is a weird windows bug.. it might just work?

SMEE AGAIN!!

I want the different "sections" in the DC++ interface to be movable, just like the toolbars in IE. One section for the button bar, one for window view, one for the transfers and one for the window tabs. Just drag 'n drop them where you want them.. huh? Wouldn't this be awesome!!!

queueing system.. I've wanted this for a long time, the answer is "the nmdc way".. DC++ would download the files in the order they have in the queue window. Get rid of that stupid priority system.. it sucks!
