Re: CRC-checking - EXACT files!

Totally tired of damaged videos, corrupt RARs, misfit-ZIPs - what I am talking about is files that are not exact as the source was. Will we see CRC-checking-codes in DC++ or any other way to see if fileA is the same EXACTLY as fileB before downloading it? It looks like BlackClaw is working on getti...

BCDC++ has had upload limiting for as long as I remember (at least since 0.181, probably earlier)... The last time I used a binary of BCDC++ was 0.181, and at that time (mid November), upload limiting hadn't been added in. BlackClaw has released his builds more frequently than the official version ...

Re: Remote User Agreement or something!

When a user wants to download a file a private message is sent to that user with the content: "You are about to download the file [file] from me, do you have legal rights to download this file? If you do, answer yes and your download wil begin." This is one of the features that pDC++ seems to offer...

Re: Download from multiple users

Wouldn't it be great if you had the possibliity to download from multiple users simultaneously, to increase throughput. Something like the segmented download in GetRight. On the feature forums, someone mentioned that he implemented this feature. He's got a website up, with source for his mod: pDC++...

Re: Download Speed Limiting

Hello everybody. What are your thoughts on the ability to limit download speed as opposed to the upload speed? Then you can give priority to your own downloads if you wish, but also to be nice to providers with ADSL and cap the speed in an attempt to let them keep the ability to download themself. ...

Port Forwarding DC++

OK if that is not possible how can I get my Router to work with DC ++ It is Netgear RP114 firewall router.. First, configure your client with a specific port - 1412 used to be the default, but if the port box is blank, it will pick a random one. Next, you must force (ok... last time I checked at le...

Comments?

I agree that I've not seen many comments in the code, but that makes me work harder at understanding it. Comments can be wrong and become outdated, whereas the code never is. I'm sure Arne would consider adding comments if you submitted them to him in the form of diffs. That , not easy readability, ...

Outdated links

Look at the sourceforge page proper, rather than dcplusplus.sf.net for the other versions (the up to date needed ones) of the includes/libraries.
