It's been a while since I've used DC and I just downloaded the latest version 0.691. Immediately I could tell there was a difference in download speed. I looked for the small send buffer option but couldn't find it so it so I did a google search and landed on this forum. My experience has been the ...

that's the case here in holland.
all the universitys connections have huge ip pools.

finding a up to date client that doesn't hash is impossible as all clients since version 0.401 use hashing.
the search filter should be in ynhub i believe have a look in your settings.

maybe remove the 2nd default hublist (http://dc.selwerd.nl/hublist.xml.bz2) because that one has been down for ages and won't come up again i think.

in what form will ADCH++ be released?
source only like DCH++ or will there be binaries for windows and some of the most common distro's?
a binary release will encourage luascripters to write scripts for it =) (if there's a scripting plugin in it that is...)

either DC++ should do this alongside hashing which takes a lot of resources as it is... let alone accessing ID3 tags and getting the info, if there is any. or the user should include a file with this info with the files... which probably isn't going to happen. also take a look here... http://dcpp.ne...

it's quite common for extensive uploads to kill all downloads...
i had it with 3 different ISP's now

1 ADSL ISP
1 Cable ISP
and a 10/10 or 100/100 ISP

on the asynchronous lines a full upload kills download
on the synchronous lines it does too but that's quite obvious
