you can sorta achieve that with BCDC, it lets you set speed caps at two times, so you could limit ur downloads to say 2k at 8am.

atm it searches for one file for alternates every minute (correct me if I'm wrong) so if you have a large list then it will take along time to search for alternates for all files, which is why the new auto filelist match queue feature is so good.

yeah but some of us use the button to activate the window again, ie I have my finished downloads folder open, but its slipped in behind a few hubs, clicking the button again brings it to the top for me to see again. Now if it only closed the window if it was the active one, and brought it to the top...

NMDC isn't capable of slot blocking as such, it just doesn't have the minislot features of dc++, so that filelists actually require a slot. also if you're in say 5 hubs and only want to search one of them (like I usually untick the dcdev hub) can get a bit tedious. So yeah a way of remembering old values would be helpful.

hmm well that was fairly easy to add, I'll submit a patch to arnie. I think this feature is very promising. Thou it only adds them if the adlsearch folders are created I dunno if this happens when the 0.305 feature auto downloads lists (if it does then files would be added fairly quickly i'd think)

hmmm i can see this post going nowhere.... cologic is working on hashing for BCDC, if this features works well then he might submit the code to arnie, until then you can use BCDC to find problems with the hashing and maybe speed the process up.

find the file you want to use, and right click -> download to, the other file should be in the menu. The only exception I can think of is that the file extension must be the same (gets alittle annoying at times).
