I'm running the 'L' version at the moment. I even went so far as to do a fresh installation and get the same results -- any searches go to my own shares rather than the network. I switched back to DC++ and the searches worked just fine. I have it behind a firewall, but it's on the DMZ and all WAS wo...

I can't say that I disagree with you. I've been recommending a number of users over to BCDC++ for just these reasons.

Now if you can just tell me why BCDC++ will only search my own shared files rather than the network I can get back to using it again.

Better yet -- why not just put the feature in and be done with it? Leechers will always be there -- there's just no way to get rid of 'em. Hubs can run scripts and such to help out with that a bit of course, but as has been noted throughout the thread -- it's not hard to modify code or work around i...
