DC++

sorry... haven't thought of the short form for "SysTray"... but adding my posts to that "Tray Icon" topic, i think that "Open" & "Exit" options should be enough... the other options can be accesed when you open DC++'s main window... so that's it...

Don't know if this happened to any of you, but still this is not the cause why i'm requiring this feature: sometimes, when DC++ runs in background and i'm also running other programs in foreground, i cannot double-click the DC++ icon any more... i mean, the program doesn't popup anymore... that's wh...

well... as i've seen, all the source code is written in C/C++ language (or most of it)... so, the "Download Queue" should manage lists with over 10000 files in it... it's just a "simple" file processing (an XML file, as i've seen) and i think it should not be "threatened" about the size of the "Down...

then how about tooltips ? people should know as much information about their files as they can get... the reasons for this should be plenty, but everyone has its own ones... the point was not to add columns to the DQ, but to add (or to make an additional program, such as MoGLO - for multiple HUBs se...

sarf... if what you say is true (and probably is, i don't know for sure... yet), what happens when you have thousands (let's say over 10 thousand) files in your download queue ? for all of these files to be searched for (finding alternate sources), it requires lot of time, i guess... and that 1 minu...

GargoyleMT... indeed, i do have lotta files in my download queue, but i guess that's not relevant for this topic... just think about the good parts of having that "offline search tool" for your download queue... finding a file (whatever purpose it is needed) is very useful to everyone... and i guess...

hmm... shouldn't there be a "incomplete downloads" directory (like in KaZaA :P) and not bother anymore with that 8-alphanumerical-stuff at the end of each file ? Johner has a point though... you should be able to see the size of each file in the "Download to..." submenu... or a tooltip when you hove...

A very useful download queue feature is a "search tool"... it could be an "offline" version to the "Search" (for files) option or the "ADL Search"...
the purpose could be chancing the priority of files or fiding alternates for a certain file...

as the subject says, there could be also a priority enhancer based on a list (or the actual list) of favorite users...
e.g.: users from my ISP or "my private" users...
