You don't have to retype them as long as you keep the search window open, and even after that the filters are saved in the drop-down until client restart.

I was thinking anything involving a hub and encrypting data would be a bad idea, as it'll need to encrypt the data differently for each user if you want it to be secure. Maybe ways around this, but i don't know. Like stunnel which Phantom mentioned, which impiles an encrypted ssl tunnel between the...

Essentially, a searchresult is in no way any kind of proof that the ip-adress sending it was actually sharing the file in question, there is no real way to prove the user with the ip actually had the file (he could have spoofed the result, or had faked files), or that indeed the ip actually belonge...

possibility to make virtual folders would be really nice.. especially for us bigsharers.. would be neat to be able to share all tv-series in one folder for example.. despite that they are located on different hdd's.

The possibility to add multiple folder at once would ofcourse be required too.

one could just ignore the results that pop in.. It's a problem when you find a file almost... I meant that DC++ should ignore the search results that it recieves from other users.. and don't show them in the list. Just because you hit a stop button other users don't stop sending you their results!

yes, I know it works by comparing hashes.. but the files is already hashed.. I had a folder shared... with hashes.. then I copyed that folder and shared that too.. since it's the same files.. DC++ does no new hashing.. and no dupe removing either... cause it has no hashes to compare I guess.. ?

report dupes that has been removed

Many users have gotten their shares shrinked in DC++ 0.401. I guess this is cause of the improved dupe removing function, which is good. However, this causes some problems to the users, that (apperently) were sharing dupes without beeing aware of it. Some kind of reporting mechanism for the dupe rem...
