Usually large portions or the whole file will be empty.

People can still share unfinished torrent destination files from programs that creates whole files right from the start.

Detect unfinished torrents during hash

Even tough very high compression tells if it is an unfinished torrent they shoudnt be shared in the first place. So maybe during hashing they could be removed.

Just do a test. With too much ul the dl will drop significant so lower in steps of 1k to balance it.

Nevermind... I found that this was a rejected feature... I can see how this can be a time consuming feature to implement but damn... Time consuming, maybe but if you are going to implement virtual folders different shares for different hubs are no big deal. The sharemanager just have to have a soli...

Re: DC++ Update Available Dialogue

This is not only a convenient feature, it would result in a faster overall users client update with regard to newly found malicious bugs I see no point not having it.

This is a good idea, but no forced automatic update please.

Another small fix.

Even if you can refresh filelist under file, its seems logical to place such a button in the share window.

First of all if ISP uses a large cache does this effect my upload bandwidth in any way? The problem with multi source downloading and rar releases is that of bandwidth ratio. In Sweden a large number of people will now be able to get either 8/0.8 or 2/0.8. In the past this was no real problem cause ...

Share Manager

The need for a better share manager is becoming more evident as hubs gets more specialist with particular rules. One of these rules being rar in certain reg. hubs. Together with hub dependent sharelists you also need virtual folders so you can accommodate the specific rules and still have a nice cle...

NFO viewer, extra slot for filelist

Stopping current downloads to get the users filelist is a bit risky so it would be great if you could get a temporary extra slot just for the filelist. I would also like to view nfo's directly from dc++ just by dubbel klicking from the user filelist. ( with proper rendering ) This would also require...

I know this isn't not a crucial thing but it sure looks nice ; ) dc++ uses the specified port only for incoming connections, so when you upload to a passive user it opens a random local port for an outgoing connection some bandwidth limiting programs show network traffic using graphs and they don't ...

Re: Port Control

Well I have specified a port under settings/active but it doesn't always work. Connection to the hub gets another local port but this ok. I would like to lock uploads to this port also. Then I could separate dc++ uploads and downloads to graph. Because if you don't have a port specified, it'll pick ...

Port Control

I would like to monitor traffic generated from DC++ especially file downloads/upploads as a graph. I currently use Trafmeter but will switch to the free Analyzer as soon its in a more finished state. For it to work I would like dc++ to use predefiened local ports. Although I run in active mode the s...
