tester329, I don't think you are missing anything. I can confirm your suspicion however. I have done exactly that to make it appear to clients connected to a certain scriptless hubsoft that commands came from the hubsoft when in fact they came from another program running on the PC which is also con...

Xsthetic NetServer by Hawk uses a very old version of Hub-LInk to provide multi-hub capability. The built in multi-hub from PtokaX with MHServer is unstable, it will provide a simple multi-hub chat if both hubs are running 0.326TD4. It might even work with the leaked version of .330 B15.25 but don't...

I don't agree that this would require CTCP. Sure, an implementation of CTCP could facilitate this concept, but I think that's going over the top... I'm not suggesting we turn DC++ into an IRC client (wasn't that done already anyway? ;)) I did search for CTCP in the forum and dev hub logs... it keeps...

Private Messages (not through the hub)
I was thinking today about PM's and how they are sent through the hub from one user to another, but when those two users want to share files they negotiate a connection via the hub and then leave the hub out of it. Would it not be possible to implement a Client-to-Client extension via SUPPORTS for P...

MHServer is an abandoned project by aMuteX to create a central 'super-hub' that PtokaX hubs could connect to and link Main Chat. Apparently Op-Chat can be linked too, but I have not been able to get that working so far. The person running the MHServer has the remote ability to START/STOP the PtokaX ...

I am assuming off the shelf DC++ clients, if you customized the client, or used something else (DC:Pro, NMDC, DCGUI) then some of these statements might not be true.... There was an old request for this in the Sourceforge Tracker but since that has been replaced by Bugzilla it would be a good idea to create your feature request there.
