Accommodating the multi-row tab

At the moment, the inception of a second row of tabs pushes everything up so that the bottom of the windows get covered. I was wondering if it could just squeeze the transfers box and not push it up.

Slots and tags.

A different version of dedicated slots: Instead of slots being dedicated to a hub, what of dedicated slots to a person? When I grant somebody an extra slot, not only do I want them to have an extra slot, but I'd also probably want them not to take up the normal slots everybody else is vying for. The...

Several things actually: Somebody mentioned PM'ing offline users. Well, if we're still connected to them through downloading/uploading, wouldn't it be possible to PM them through that IP? Watching kick/ban messages is an interesting idea. I was wondering how the community would react to an automatic...

A bug: DC++ should probably limit incoming connections to one IP and one IP only (most hubs have this scripted feature anyway, I believe).

IMHO, implementing an upload limiting feature is a very bad idea. Leeching should not be condoned whatsoever, in any manner or fashion possible. It isn't a matter of DC++'s reputation, but a question of the file sharing system itself. I will not share on a network with 75% leechers. My school...

Most hubs will ban for using GLO, so um, yeah, that's not a good thing at all. Just having it alone gives rise to several major problems. First, everybody will be using it, and every hub on the hub list will be flooded with searches. If upwards of 100k users start searching on every hub, think about...

I like the periodic refresh button. I know I often forget to refresh my filelist, and I get kicked for doing so every so often. Since I've usually got DC++ uptimes of weeks, it'd be great not to have to type '/refresh' every time I finish a new file and share it or rearrange my files around. And if ...

Yeah, with this, maybe we could put the dollar sign back in (it'll just get sent as a different, probably unused or a similar symbol, and interpreted back as the dollar sign)... :) The only thing I can see troubling is compatibility. I'm not sure if NMDC supports unicode, and if people start sending...

Description tag problems.

This isn't a true bug per se, but it does cause many unwanted difficulties, especially with various hub scripts. When using certain options, like opening an extra slot if under a certain upload speed, DC++ automatically adds an extra tag to the end of the DC++-generated description (in this case, it...

Yeah, freestyler interpreted my somewhat vague idea properly. :) It just kinda peeves me that when I try to sort by status, it's first-come first-serve. And, it's easier to look through, especially when it comes to speed. Assuming 2 people have the same files I'm looking for, if one person was signi...

Recent hun list

Since every time I crash, I lose my most updated version of my favorite hubs list, I'd really appreciate it if I could just go to the recent hub list and reconnect to certain hubs that are not listed in the public hub list through there. I've been crashing a lot, and it doesn't help that none of the...

Search by hub.

When sending out a search query, we should have the option of picking which hub we want to send it to. For example, if I wanted to search the fast hub first (ie. school hub), or, if there are different ideologies with regards to "search spaming" (certain hubs kick users for search spamming, hubs hav...

Several ideas:

Upload queues. Think IRC. Break the status column into Status, Completed, Percent, and Speed. Queue priority values affect download speeds. In a rollback inconsistency, provide option to trim files (files will be trimmed only if the start of the file is the same). Change downloading files without di...
