Glad to hear that you are using plain gtk instead of gtkmm, I don't like to compile gtkmm sources. Just more to set up.
But autoconf/automake is something I use myself and will in the future. ./configure, make, make install is the unix way :)

Is the new version in CVS yet?

Any progress on this project?
I just tested the CVS version and saw some changes. The mailinglist is not that active either.
Tried to downloade some files, it crashes when I want to download files, but filelists works.

Are your goals to try make such a qualityport of DC++ that it could be accepted as a official unix port in the feature when the project is mature?

How is the work going on on this project? As I have mentioned before, I would like to see this (or something similar) being accepted as an official port and imported into main DC++ sourcecode. That way I belive the community will support both ports and more people working on patches (and so on). And...

Nice work! The CVS compiled without problems for me (slackware 10.0). With a GUI more like original DC++ (like timo's) and this might become somthing useful. A good DC client is something missing in the unix world. We want to p2p the latest kernel to  I want to se something like this being mer...

Use this community to help you with auto* scripts and UNIX testing. Me for example.

How about a UNIX port? Since you don't use any GUI code, it wouldn't be to hart to do a port to any decent UNIX flawor. Make it fork to the background and/or run as a inetd/xinetd service instead of a windows service. If you decide to release this as a opensource project, UNIX ports will show up rea...
