First of all, there is no 0.5 series of DC++. Second, what does the following mean? Then DC++ would TTH every file I had in that queue click Disconnect each time to stop it from TTHing all the queued stuff all over again. They don't make any sense. Do you mean that a "TTH download" appear for each f...

His suggestion was to use a different protocol identifier in CTM/RCM. Eg, CTM CCMP/1.0 port... That is only if there is a need for the hub to see what the connection will be used for. I still think we need no difference in CTM/RCM at all for that functionality. For the client, it would be much easi...

After discussion with cologic and Farcry, I believe Farcry's suggestion for C-C MSG is the best. His suggestion was to use a different protocol identifier in CTM/RCM. Eg, CTM CCMP/1.0 port... Where CCMP/1.0 mean Client-Client Message Protocol (version one). CCMP/1.0 should be fully compatible with A...

Reading the compile information maybe would've been wise. DC++ 0.698 is supposed to be compiled with VS 7 (2003). DC++ 0.699 with VS 8 (2005). And the latter use the built in STLPort and not the custom, so you don't need to include that.

Extending ADC's C-C with MSG

The current ADC draft specify that MSG is only valid in C-H and H-C. This mean that two clients can never speak with each other *really* privately. I am proposing adding an extension to ADC that would allow MSG to be availble in C-C. I don't consider that there is any other type that would be benifi...

I'd like to remove the following, based on that I don't think the protocol should explicitly state what clients or hubs should or shouldn't do (or be able to). The line between a mere suggestion and a demand is thin, which makes me hesitant to (not) include certain parts of the current draft. Applic...

I have no idea what kind of hubs you're in, but I seldom recieve PM spam in the public hubs I frequent (that I use for downloading). I was confused the instant I looked at that screenshot.

Don't have 200-300 user commands and the problem is solved. Why the hell would you need that many user commands? User commands isn't your problem. The amount of hubs you're in is.

The problem with Edgy Eft is the version of SCons. ADCH++ require 0.96.1, while Edgy Eft ship with 0.96.92. Downgrade and you all will be fine. (Or hopefully.)

IIRC, using VeryOldVersion to flush out old clients could be legally not advised, since then "we would have control over which clients are supposed to be used". Or something like that.

Granted, yassl isn't included in the package, but I assume (1) LinuxDC++ should be able to utilize Linux's built-in capabilites or (2) adding yassl (as DC++ has) to the build process would "add" SSL.
