Dunno about the US, but I know that over here, in Europe, ISP's are going a bit mad for the caches - the ones who've actually seen them in action, anyhoo. The legal position is a little different over in the US, but many ISP's may still go for it, because these systems pay for themselves very quick...

Feature request! Upload queue.
I know that we can not know what the peers are going to download. But it would be a greate feature to have a list of users that recently beed rejected during no slot.

Dont agree. If there are lot of people with slow speed they can not share it fast to others. Better to share to people how share fast to others. And the slowspeeders get it from someelse later. They are like walking people on a racetrack. Only in the way. And an other idea is to have a queue, and a ...

You get a request from one of the hubs. You do an connection to the other host. You know what hub that user request is from, and then you can send the correct filelist for users on that hub. So it makes no difference if you are on passive or active mode. You can have the different file lists for eac...

Filelists vs download queue.
I have download some stuff with lots of files. It's hard to get DC++ to find
them all. A nice feature would be that it tries to match the download queue with downloaded filelists. I thougt it did that, but at least did not work with this stuff.

cologic: For me it's a good thing with more functionality for people that do not use passive mode. If everyone was using passive mode we get in to big problems. And if it was up to me, we could ban the passive mode if it was making my functionality better. I don't think it do things worse so it can ...

GargoyleMT: No it dont. When you have two clients they listen to two different ports. So if two people with the same nick ask for a share you know what shareset you are shareing on that port the request is commit to. That's the way it works for two process running DC++, and that's the way it coult w...

That bad. Well it's opensource. I guess if its a good ide someone will do it. In DC++ or a other klient. Since there are ways to get around the problem, there is no idea to have the opinion that is a bad idea. People use the workarounds and only think it's crappy software. I use XP and run different...

Different sharing on different hubs.
In the list favo hubs, I think it would be good to have different share definitons. On some hubs there are only films. Other not mp3 or software. So it would be very good to have some speciall shareing for speciall hubs. Now I have to use the smallest common accepted share folders. So I can not be o...

Multiple DC++
I know that DC++ can talk to many servers at the same time. But I would like to have more than one DC++ client at the same time. First some hubs don't alow more than one hub. And some hubs are very keen about whats in there share. So with multile DC++ clients with diffrents configurations you can so...
